Multiple BI Projects, SAP Netweaver BI implementation
The central piece of reporting solutions, called Rush, was developed from scratch on a SAP NetWeaver BI 700 platform.  Rush as the most complex corporate reporting solution was used by Kone to report their financial results worldwide.   The reporting solution existed initially on a SAP ERP platform and was used by all KONE entities to monitor the sales of new elevators, escalators, doors,… , the maintenance of the existing ones and the customer profitability.  The application uses data from the CO, SD, PM, PS and CS modules.  Because the application was so critical for the business, the new solution had to be designed and implemented in a limited time frame, but also with limited resources. The reporting solution was split into 4 reporting areas, the data model of each area consisted of a dozen custom info cubes gathering data from many custom DSOs using a multi-layer architecture. On top of the reporting solution, new solutions were built using info sets and multi providers.

Application maintenance services for the Benelux organizations in the following domains: Human Resources, Finance & Controlling, Materials Management & Real Estate, included mid-sized development projects. The systems landscape consisted of two SAP R/3 4.6C tracks, one for Belux, one for the Netherlands with two SAP BW 3.1 tracks, one for Belux and again one for the Netherlands, both of those using Business Objects 6.51 as reporting tool.  Delivery of estimate sheets, functional & technical design documents of all developments. Analysis and resolution of production incidents in a wide variety of functional and technical areas.  BI team consisted of 3 BW FTEs located offshore, 3 BW FTE and 1 BO FTE all located in Belgium.
